About Jess
Coaching was always at the center of my work, long before I formally trained as an executive coach.
Throughout my career the throughline was always the same: helping people grow, perform at their best, step more fully into their leadership, and be deeply fulfilled by their work.
More than any of the awards I received or the professional success I achieved, developing others became the work that felt most satisfying, meaningful and impactful.

Leadership Experience Under Real Pressure
Before coaching full time, I spent more than a decade in leadership roles leading teams of up to 150 people in high-pressure environments.
As an Oscar- and Emmy-nominated filmmaker, I led award-winning global projects in some of the most complex and high-stakes environments imaginable - from the Amazon jungle, conflict zones and maximum security prisons to the White House and across from world leaders and huge celebrities. My work demanded clarity under pressure, rapid decision-making amid uncertainty, and the ability to inspire diverse teams to achieve extraordinary outcomes.
I later brought this experience into the corporate world as a senior leader at MasterClass, where I led a team through explosive company growth, global instability, and a 40% reduction in force. Supporting teams through volatility, uncertainty, and constant change deepened my understanding of what modern leaders face and what skillful, sustainable leadership requires.
Those experiences and skills inform how I coach leaders today to lead with clarity, confidence and resilience, no matter what challenges or adversity they face.

Discovering Mindfulness as a Superpower
Alongside my leadership career, I discovered and immersed myself in mindfulness and meditation, initially with great skepticism. Like many people, I believed my mind was too active and my schedule too full for it to work for me.
When I changed strategies and finally learned through personalized instruction, something shifted immediately. Meditation then became easy, enjoyable, and profoundly transformative. The shift was so noticeable that people in my life began jokingly referring to me as “Jess 2.0.”
Experiencing firsthand how dramatically mindfulness improved my leadership and wellbeing led me to undertake extensive training with world-renowned teachers to become a certified teacher myself. For more than a decade I’ve taught mindfulness and meditation to more than a thousand individuals and organizational teams, specializing in making these practices practical, accessible, and sustainable for busy lives.

From Leader to Executive Coach
Many executives I worked with began asking for deeper support with leadership and performance. That demand ultimately led me to formalize what I had long been doing informally by pursuing formal training and certification in executive coaching.
I am credentialed through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the global gold standard in professional coaching, and trained through The Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), one of the world’s most respected leadership development programs. I am also trained in Positive Intelligence, an evidence-based framework integrating neuroscience, psychology, and performance science to strengthen mental fitness and sustainable high performance.
My coaching combines real leadership experience, mindfulness expertise, and evidence-informed performance tools to help leaders thrive without burning out.
My Approach
Having walked in the shoes of a leader myself I understand the realities leaders face, including the relentless demands, constant juggle of competing priorities, and pressure to perform while sustaining both themselves and their people.
My work helps leaders become calmer under pressure, clearer and more confident in their leadership, and more effective without working harder or sacrificing wellbeing.
I help people access the version of themselves capable of extraordinary impact, sustainable success, and genuine fulfillment.
